Margaret Ingrassia trained at the Academy of Ballet in Edinburgh with Joan Tucker and Jack Spurgeon - former dancers with the Sadlers Wells Ballet.
After teaching with the Academy of Ballet and with Dame Marjorie Middleton she taught with Jennifer Cummings for two years before opening her own school in Edinburgh and surrounding areas which she ran for 13 years before moving to London with her family.
Margaret then opened her school here in London in 1986 and also taught for Jo-Anne Wilding in Cobham. She went on to take over this branch which she ran for 8 years. She then had branches in Ealing, East Acton and Harlesden where she taught ballet and tap. She also taught in Harvington School for Girls and St.Benedicts Junior School.
As from September 2018 she will reduce her commitments and will be running only the Branch in Pitshanger Methodist Church Hall, Pitshanger Lane, Ealing W5 1QP
She is a fully registered teacher and life member of the Royal Academy of Dance and a member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.
She also has a teacher's certificate with the British Theatre Dance Association.
