Our Teachers


Julie McNamee

Julie teaches modern and street dance at Harlesden.

Since the age of four, Julie has constantly been dancing in competitions and shows in the Midlands. Whilst completing her A-Levels she helped to run a local stage school and also taught and choreographed within the dance school she attended. Julie then decided to head to London to begin her career.

Since graduating from Middlesex University with a first class degree in Dance Performance, she has performed with various companies at venues such as The Place, The Cochrane Theatre, The Cockpit Theatre, Brick Lane Music Hall and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She is also part of an all singing/dancing vintage girl act ‘My Favourite Things’ who perform all around London and the UK.

She had the privilege of teaching contemporary at Middlesex University and continues to carry out dance, drama and film and camera weeks in the holidays as well as being a qualified zumba instructor. Julie is really enjoying teaching for Margaret Dance Academy.


Nika Bolinski

Nika teaches RAD ballet and ISTD Tap and Modern at Ealing and Harlesden.

At the age of three she started dancing at the Bush Davies school in Romford. She then progressed to the Hammond School in Chester and finally to Italia Conti Stage School in London. While still training at Italia Conti Nika appeared in TV shows such as Grange Hill, Russ Abbot Staurday Madhouse, Ladies in Charge and various TV commercials. After leaving college she continued to appear in several West End shows including 42nd Street, numerous summer seasons, pantomimes and a three month national tour of the comedy play Any Extras. Nika has been a registered teacher with the RAD and ISTD for the last 18 years, teaching ballet, modern and tap to children from the ages of three years. Her knowledge of teaching the RAD and ISTD is excellent and she has achieved 100% exam success rate.

Currently Nika is working at five West London venues teaching children as well as adult street dance and jazz.

Abbie Murray

Abbie has been involved with music, theatre and drama since a young age, performing at her church and school productions, as well as venues such as St Pauls Cathedral, the Actors Church in Covent Garden and The Shaw Theatre.

She studied Theatre Arts at Middlesex University and then on to do a PGCE in Early Years.

She currently teaches at a Primary School in Harlesden, and runs an after school Theatre Club, the school choir and singing assemblies. She is also a member of the Rock Choir, and has performed in Brent Cross, Trafalgar Square and will soon be recording with them at Abbey Road Studios. Abbie is involved in music leadership at her church, leading on guitar and vocals at least once a week, as well as leading and co ordinating the church choir.

She is also part of the wider volunteer team of ‘West End Has Faith’, a group of Christian actors and dancers in the West End, and has accompanied them in venues such as the Actors Church, Regent Hall in Oxford Street and to the Edinburgh Fringe.

Abbie is really enjoying being part of the team and teaching at Margaret Dance Academy.
